W·P·S Consulting Engineers, P.C. founded in 1988, provides a broad range of mechanical and electrical engineering services. Our Principals and senior staff have a wide range of engineering and engineering management experience, which includes industrial, institutional, governmental, and commercial buildings.

Cost control is of major importance to clients, as is adherence to design and construction schedules.  W·P·S personnel have a successful record of providing accurate cost estimates and of meeting or improving on schedule deadlines.
W·P·S personnel take full advantage of computer-aided technology, including AutoCad, while maintaining a high level of skills so vital to meet a client's special needs.  Our design/drafting staff is fully trained in AutoCad and drawings are processed in this format.  Our staff employs spreadsheet analysis and commercial design software when appropriate.

Few firms have the depth of HVAC experience that the Principals and senior staff bring to the Engineering Community.  Principal Henry Shouse, P.E. got his start in the field of Mechanical Engineering as a Draftsman for William A. Brown Consulting Engineers as a High School Student in the mid-1950's and has worked exclusively in Mechanical Engineering for more than 40 years.  His award winning designs and innovation in the field of HVAC, have brought he industry standard of all HVAC engineering to a higher level.

Principal Mick Prosser, P.E., has been an Industry Leader in the field of HVAC for the last 30 years.  Like his partner Henry, Mick has twice been recognized by the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for innovation and adaptive reuse of space not only in the Upstate New York region,  but both Principals were also recognized for their accomplishments in the entire Northeastern Region, which spans from New Jersey to Maine (including the New York Metropolitan Area).  With all the mechanical engineers that are represented in these regions, that is quite a distinction.
